The Venueweb Trust is pleased to accept any relevant information about any performance venue.

There is no charge to process and post this information providing you email it to us - i.e. your text, CAD or other plans and photos are in digital format.

We prefer CAD data to be in Autocad release 2000 DWG or DXF format, but we will accept whatever you have if need be. Please zip large files.

We will also accept paper plans, text and photos, but there will be a processing charge to convert this to digital format. Email us to discuss details.

We are also available to visit your venue and document it via photographs, panoramas and, using laser measurement, create 2 or 3D CAD plans of it.

    E.G.: Traditional Proscenium Arch Theatre built 1910. Original condition - refurbished 1980.

Auditorium Description:
    E.G.: Proscenium theatre. Flat wooden stage, extensively trapped. 2.2 clearance under stage orchestra assembly/ chorus dressing rooms. Full counterweight system in full height flytower. Orchestra pit/hydraulic forestage. Stalls (604), and two tiers seating - circle(270) and upper circle (580). Projection booth at rear of upper circle c/w older but working 35mm film projectors, and f/spots. Working opening dome in roof. Air conditioned (installed 1975).  
Stage:
    E.G.: Proscenium width 10.000m; height 8.320m; height of flyfloor 8.600m; height to underside of grid 25.750m; width between flyfloors 18.260m; centre line to sl wall 12.200m; centreline to sr wall 12.620m; stage depth (from setting line = rear of fire curtain) 19.330m; setting line to front of stage 1.110m.

Getin:
    E.G.: Side alley 3.260m wide shared with businesses at rear of theatre, so getin times have to be strictly adhered to. Counterweighted door slides up in stage right wall - max opening 2.880m wide by 3.620m high.  
Dressing Rooms:
    E.G.: 6 under stage chorus dressing rooms, six artistes each. hot/cold water but no showers. 4 separate toilets. 8 artists dressing rooms off stage left. max four artists each. Hot/cold water/toilets/showers.  
Stage manager:
    E.G.: prompt corner- communication with foh, projection booth, flyfloor, orchestra pit, stalls and circle temp sound or lx positions via dedicated lines. Tannoy to all dressing rooms etc.
